We are on vacation from Minnesota and our teenage son needed a haircut. We searched barbershops in the area and saw that True North had excellent reviews. We arrived in the morning and we didn’t have a wait time. Tammi did an excellent job on his haircut and style. She gave a very precise haircut. She also did a great job cleaning up his neck area and even attended to his eye brows. She also gave him product ideas. The price was very reasonable. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be back! I highly recommend Tammi and True North Barbershop!

An excellent place to get a haircut with even more phenomenal service. Never had a bad haircut with them and always a delight to visit. In my opinion best place to go if you need a haircut and to laugh about something or to just talk while it happens. It’s cheap but quality is always there. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I don't usually bother much with my hair... I get around to cutting it, or getting it cut, when it gets long enough that it starts to be a bother or look messy. I've been here before and like the atmosphere: it's relaxed and has a calm feeling. There's rarely a wait when I go, and this time I was offered a cut the moment I sat down to wait. Tammy gave me excellent service and it was an enjoyable experience. If I go out to get my hair cut instead of taking care of it myself, I don't want to have to answer a dozen questions about what lengths or numbers I should have different parts cuts. I usually say something like "just cut it on the shorter side and however looks good"... most other places, I still have to answer a bunch of questions and direct the cut. Tammy took care of my cut without needing direction, and even added some extra styling. The hot neck shave is a good finish, and her attention to detail in cleaning meant that I didn't find the usual few bits of hair on myself a couple hours after the cut. I often take care of my own hair, only bothering with a barber once or twice a year. WIth this kind of service, I expect I'll be visiting much more often.
